The sculptor is a fourth generation artist who learnt the art from his grandfather. The statue is fully oxidized and detailly made. Intricate and meticulous carvings in the statue is the main highlight. The dhoti or robe of the Buddha is fully carved with various floral motifs. The lotus pedestal has been finely carved with various motifs and the back of the lotus is carved with two
