Carl Zeiss Jena Biotar 5.8cm f2 for Exakta large format Manufactured by Tomioka for RicohThis is a post war, manual aperture version of the classic 5. 8cm f2 Biotar lens. Cosmetic condition is decent, with some paint and finish wear; focusing is even, if somewhat tight. The almost perfectly circular 17 blade aperture moves well. Optics are good, with a touch of edge haze, some cleaning marks and light pitting on the front element. Not perfect, but a nice classic lens with good image quality. This lens is in Exakta mount.
