Broders was a French illustrator best known for his travel posters promoting tourist destinations in France, both on the Cote d'Azur as well as in the French Alps. This is one of his best known posters. The Paris Lyon Mediterane Company, the infamous PLM railway, commissioned Broders' poster art, sponsoring his travel so he could
