Half speed mastered by Matt Colton at Metropolis Studios, under the supervision of drummer Lee Harris and Charlie Hollis, son of vocalist Mark Hollis. The album marks the band's transition from the synth pop sound of The Party's Over and It's My Life toward a more improvisational approach, laying the groundwork
