Distilled using grapes, raisins and aniseed, Raki was first referenced in literature in 1510. The production of Yeni Raki requires 20 types of fresh or dry grapes, quality green aniseed, and water. Grape, gum, oak, very light vanilla and spice scents. Aromatic and creamy when diluted. Perfect pairing w hummus, baba ghanoush or young, briny cheeses.
