The Kentucky Derby Is Decadent And Depraved: Clear Vinyl LP BHW40 It Really Is Them'The Kentucky Derby is Decadent and Depraved' is a 2012 recording of Hunter S. Thompsons seminal 1970 sports article. The article is credited with being the first piece of Gonzo Journalism an unconventional journalistic style for which Thompson was known. Voices include actor Tim Robbins and Thompsons illustrator Ralph Steadman. The dialogue is interspersed by jazzy musical passages played by a band led by jazz guitarist and composer Bill Frisell.
